Dominic Richards, Chairman and Founder:
Dominic is a British entrepreneur. After graduating from King's College, Cambridge, Dominic co-founded the English Teddy Bear Company, which was sold to toy giant Hamleys. Dominic has enjoyed much success rescuing and finding new uses for wonderful buildings in the UK and acts as a trustee of the Prince of Wales' Foundation for the Built Environment. The Yaxley Group now comprises a successful country house venue at his home in Suffolk, leisure property including its current project, a 68 bedroom eco farm conference centre, and consulting and education in China.

Drew Ross, Managing Director:
Drew's background includes a unique combination of acting skills and business experience. He trained as an actor at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and graduated from De Montfort University with a BA in English and Theatre. For several years, he acted professionally, before going on to work in Event Management and Business Development for Business Link for London and Yaxley Hall in Suffolk. Drew manages Yaxley Education's business initiatives linking China and the UK and develops relationships with educational bodies in China. Drew has led interactive training courses focused on management skills, presentation techniques, and effective networking.

Peter Ede, Director:
Peter studied language and literature at Cambridge University. He further developed his mastery of the English language through post-graduate studies and qualification in law. He practiced for six years as an international solicitor at one of the world's leading law firms, Clifford Chance. Peter also has a command of a further four European languages. His translation skills and appreciation for the finer points of language and syntax were a significant factor in his selection by the firm to work on one of the largest suits in Anglo-Saxon legal history, the Thyssen case in Bermuda. Peter assists in the development of soft-skill and English language training courses for Yaxley Education’s clients in the legal industry. He is also responsible in the UK for Yaxley Education tours.

| Harry Feng, Business Development Manager:
Adept in Chinese and English, Harry has experience working as an interpreter and translator for various companies and organisations including the Israeli Embassy in Beijing and Israel National Airline EL-AL. He graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a BA in English. Harry also gained experience in overseas education consulting at Beijing JJL, providing services for students planning to study abroad. Harry is at the centre of our thriving Beijing office, facilitating the many dynamic projects at Yaxley Education.

| Donna Mulley, IT Director:
Donna has created and implemented the Yaxley Group's successful online presence for four years. Her experience includes creating and running online sales platforms, logistics management and has responsibility for digital design, social media integration, website optimisation and creating online marketing campaigns. This work has been key in attracing worldwide business for the Group. Donna enjoys new technological developments and challenges as a natural part of the fast changing online environment. Donna also knows how key an effective online presence is to companies' competitive success.

| Tori Widdowson, Consultant:
Tori studied Chinese Studies at Oxford University in the early 90s, with time spent in Taiwan in 1994, and a research trip to the mainland in 1995. After graduation she completed a year at the Hopkins-Nanjing Programme, before returning to the UK to start a career in marketing and consultancy. She has over 10 years cross-industry experience, largely in innovation and market entry strategy. She moved back to China in 2005 as Marketing Manager Asia-Pacific for a large brewer, but has since preferred to work for smaller companies as a freelancer. This has exposed her to music, events, hotel, training and education industries over the past five years. Fluent in Mandarin, Tori offers a curious intellect crossed with a practical hands-on approach.

| Jeremy Irwin , Project Coordinator:
Jeremy brings an innovative perspective on China to the team.
Holding a BA in Mandarin, Chinese Studies and Linguistics from Curtin
University of Technology in Australia and Beijing Language and Culture
University, Jeremy relocated to Beijing in early 2008 and has
travelled widely within China, finding the country's dynamism
endlessly fascinating. He has been a member of the teaching faculty in
two of Beijing's most renowned universities - the Central University
of Finance and Economics and the University of Aeronautics and
Astronautics (Beihang). Together with a high level of Mandarin
fluency, he contributes considerable experience in staff training,
human relations, marketing and PR from previous positions in both
Australia and China. He is building on his knowledge by pursuing MBA
studies through RMIT University in Australia with a view to completion
in 2012. Jeremy is the Project Coordinator for the English Friend programme.

| Huizhong Yang, Education & Travel Consultant:
Born in Beijing during the Cultural Revolution, Huizhong grew up in a family of historians, publishers, and academics who taught her that love, honesty, education, and family values are essential ingredients to a happy and fulfilling life. Huizhong has university degrees from Beijing and continued post-graduate studies in Education, World and Art History in the United States. Since 2001, she has taught Chinese Culture and Language to American students, and in particular, families who have adopted children from China. Huizhong specialises in Chinese Language, Art, Festivals, and Music. Her close association as a teacher and friend with adoptive families of Chinese children inspired her to return to China in 2006 to head up ‘A Bridge to China’s’ programs, bringing individual and group tours/cultural experiences to Western families who desire a deeper cultural understanding of China. Huizhong is passionate about creating connections between young people in China and the West and is involved in the development and delivery of our English Friend programme.
